How to Play

Simplified Mode (Recommended for Beginners)

🎯 Game Basics:
  • •4 players in 2 teams (partners sit across from each other)
  • •Each player gets 8 cards at the start of the game
  • •Card points: Ace=3, King=2, Queen=1, Jack=1 (total 28 points)
  • •No bidding phase - just play your cards!
🃏 How to Play Cards:
  • •Follow suit: If you have cards of the suit that was led, you must play one
  • •Can't follow suit? Play any card, or reveal a random trump suit
  • •Trump beats everything: Once revealed, trump cards win over all other suits
  • •Highest card wins: Either highest trump or highest of the lead suit
🎮 Game Flow & Winning:
  • •Play 8 rounds - one card per player each round
  • •The round winner leads the next round
  • •Team points are collected from cards won in rounds
  • •The team with the most points at the end wins the game

Classic Mode (For Experienced Players)

Note: Classic Mode uses all the same rules as Simplified Mode above, plus adds strategic bidding and trump card mechanics.

💰 The Bidding Phase (Before Playing Cards):
  • •Players get 4 cards first, then bid points they think their team can win
  • •Bid 14-28 points or pass (higher bids mean more risk/reward)
  • •The highest bidder gets to choose the trump suit
  • •Their team must meet or exceed their bid to win the game
🃏 Trump Card Mechanics:
  • •The bidder gets a hidden trump card that matches their chosen suit
  • •The bidder cannot lead with their trump suit until they reveal the card
  • •Reveal trump when you can't follow suit (or when strategically advantageous)
  • •Once revealed, everyone knows the trump suit and plays accordingly
🎯 Winning in Classic Mode:
  • •Same card-playing rules as Simplified Mode
  • •The bidding team must meet their bid - if they don't, the other team wins!
